Boiling Point. Week 3 #5
Everyone has their boiling point. I'm pretty good at keeping my cool if people talk about me, but if someone messes with my little brother or my grandparents that when I get upset. Im a push over and I don't make a scene unless I feel like it is absolutely necessary. Most people get upset over small things like people accidentally bumping into them, but I try to keep my cool with stuff like that.
Good Ole Monroe Week 3 #4
There are several things I would change about Monroe. I would make our town more appealing to teenagers. I would LOVE to have a fun little coffee shop opened late for us to hangout at. Monroe is a great place to live if you are retired, but there's just not much to do if you're our age. Monroe just needs some more hangouts for us teenagers.

Week 3 #2
"I have learned silence from the talkative, toleration from the intolerant, and kindness from the unkind; yet strange, I am ungrateful to these teachers.” I think this quote is saying that you have to experience talking to understand silence, intoleration to understand tolerance, and unkindness to understand kind.
Hoot Hoot Week 3 #1
I would choose an Owl to be my personal bird. Owls come out at night and sleep during the day. If I did not have to go to school then I would sleep all day and stay up all night. Me and the owl both function better during the night.

Sex Ed.. Week 2 #5
I think that our generation is very uneducated about sex and the numerous consequences that can be caused from a sexually active lifestyle. I think sex education should start in fifth or sixth grade, by informing them about STD's and pregnancy.
Welcome to America Week 2 #4
If a foreign exchange student came to our school, I would take them to popular food stops and movies. Also, I would help them adapt to our English slang. I would just try to make them feel at home.
Europe Week 2 #3
I think we should take an educational field trip to Europe and go to different museums and historical places. If we toured some places in Europe, we could see and understand what unfluenced the famous European writers.
Haiti Week 2 #2
Haiti is the one experience that has taught me most about myself. It made me realize how much I take for granted and how truly blessed I really am. I taught me what unconditional love really looks like. I showed me how selfish my love was and how to love unselfishly.

Sweet Chaos. Week 1 #4
Having no concept of time is a little bitter-sweet. I don't like having a schedule. I like to do things at my own pace but the up-keep of time is a necessity.
What is Beauty? Week 1 #3
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has a different definition of beauty and if someone is truly unhapy with their outward appearence then I think it is okay for them to have cosmetic surgery. Self-esteem issues can cause serious problems for some people so if you have the option to make yourself feel more comfident wouldn't you?
Memories Week 1 #2
My favorite memory is going to work with my Pap when I was younger. He is the reason I have such a strong love for all animals. When he would take me to work with him we would see alligators, snakes, turtles, rabbits, and many more.
Here's to the Future. Week 1 #1
In ten years, I see myself working in the medical field as a nurse. I am very interested in taking that knowledge to a third world country and working there. I will probably be off and on from the States and other countries. In twenty years, I see myself working in a hospital in the States working in the trauma department.

If you give, you will recieve. Week 4 #5
In my experiences, I find that the old Africian prover, "if you give, you will recieve", is true. If you give expecting nothing in return There have been plenty of times where I have bought someone lunch and then a few months later someone buying my lunch for me.
$10,000 Week 4 #4
If $10,000 were given to me then I would put it into a savings account to have when I go to college. Because tops does not cover all cost, that money would help me tremendously with my other cost.
Computers Week 4 #3
In 20 years, computers will be all touch screen and voice activated. They will be so advanced that we will not have to worry about viruses, pop-ups, or hackers. It will be like an Ipad but only better and more advanced.
Hocus Pocus Week 4 #2

Britney Spears Anyone? Week 2 #3
I have been a fan of Britney Spears since I was little. Her style has changed ALOT over the years but she is a great entertainer, and I would love to meet her. If I met her, I would ask her three questions.
1. Was life easier when people didnt know your name?
2. What's the hardest thing about being famous?
3. Will you sign my butt?

2. What's the hardest thing about being famous?

Knock, Knock. Week 2 #5.
So I heard a knock and I went to the door and no one was there. There is a paper bag, a key, and a business card with a number on it. The bag is filled with gift certificates to a sushi resturant. I call the number to see what the key goes to, and Britney Spears answers. When she answered, she told me that the key was to my new mansion that has 23 bedrooms, 44 bathrooms, a pool, and a hot tub. Now that's the life.
Fear Week 2 #4
Most people fear death, spiders, water, ect. I fear being alone. I use to hate standing up for what i believed in because what if no one else followed,. I hate thinking about eating by myself, or sitting in a hallway while people pass me by, or not having any one to turn too. I know im not alone and will never be but the thought of growing old with 15 cats bothers me to my very core.
My Pap Week 2 #2
I'm a daddy's girl but my defintion of a "Dad" is different than most. My biological parents did not raise me or accept me as their own. My grandparents did. They are my parents. I look up to my Pap the most, not because he's any better than any one in my family, it's because i can relate to him. I love all kinds of animals, and my Pap always fed my interest in animals by taking to his work to see alligators, snakes, and many more critters. I also love to here his stories from "back in the day" and he's tells them to me all the time. My sactuary is sitting on the couch in the living roo, cuddled up to my Pap, and watching "America's Funniest Home Videos". My grandparents worked hard to get me to the place I am now. Its hasn't been an easy journey for them at all. I want to make them proud because of the life they have given me. I love them and am very grateful for what they have done in my life.
Night Owl. Week 2 #1
I am a night owl all the way. Hoot Hoot. I feel more energized at night than in the morning. When I wake up, I just have to worst attitude ever. I'm short tempered. In the morning I don't like to be spoken too. I wake up, get ready, drink my coffee, and a few hours later then you can talk to me. So it's safe to say that the night life suits me better.

Let's Talk Haiti
I returned home from the beautiful place of Haiti August 8th. When I stepped off that airplaned I was overwhelmed with the question "So, how was the trip?", and to be honest it's hard to explain what you've seen. Now that I'm home, things that never phased me before make me want to yell, cry, crawl under a rock, and run back to Haiti. I work at "Raising Canes" and when i take peoples order I wonder if Rosemanet, or Jean Maxion were able to eat supper. I have had many talks with close friends that have gone to Haiti before me, and the only thing we can say is that God rocked our world. I never expected to fall in those with those children, but now I just want to get on the next flight to Port-De-Paix and take a very LONG two hour tap-tap drive to Passe Catabois and embrace all of my friends. When I think about them I can't help but cry because not having food, purifed water, and a comfortable place to sleep is a every day reality for them, and when I let that wonderful place in Northwest, Haiti I returned to an abundant amout of food, a bed, and electricity. When I was in Haiti, I recieved a good bit of perception. I saw death, AIDS, lack of medical supplies, malnourished children, and a 4 year old girl with a flesh eating disease that will eventually eat her face away and she will die before the age of 18. That's Haiti.
This precious baby girl is 11 months old, she has TB, and that is a feeding tube attached to her nose. Her 16 year old mother died while giving birth due to complications of AIDs. The missionaries that live in Passe Catabois care for her but she is not expected to live.
This is Ann Marie, also known as my hero. She is from the Netherlands and permanently lives in Passe Catabois, Haiti. She is the only doctor for close to a million people. Ann Marie works at a clinic in the morning and a hospital at night. She gets little sleep, and is put in tough situations everyday. Ann Marie is changing Haiti by her love for Christ. Her and her husband Rob have three adopted daughters from Passe Catabois.
THIS IS HAITI.
C.S Lewis Song
"C.S. Lewis Song"
If I find in myself desires nothing in this world can satisfy,
I can only conclude that I was not made for here
If the flesh that I fight is at best only light and momentary,
then ofcourse I'll feel nude when to where I'm destined I'm compared
[CHORUS]
Speak to me in the light of the dawn
Mercy comes with the morning
I will sigh and with all creation groan as I wait for hope to come for me
Am I lost or just found? On the straight or on the roundabout of the wrong way?
is this a soul that stirs in me, is it breaking free, wanting to come alive?
Cos my comfort would prefer for me to be numb
An avoid the impending birth of who I was born to become
[CHORUS]
[BRIDGE]
For we, we are not long here
Our time is but a breath, so we better breathe it
And I, I was made to live, I was made to love, I was made to know you
Hope is coming for me
Hope, He's coming
